£100 to change your wardrobe
Spring has officially sprung and we are already looking forward to the longer (and warmer) days of the summer months. Often the wardrobe can feel a little drab around this time of year. There is still a significant amount of black and I am yet to integrate the idea of colour into my wardrobe properly. We've searched the web for the best ways to revamp your wardrobe and include some trends we can see sticking around for a while, without spending an excessive amount of money.
The piece of the season seems to be the bomber jacket. An essential this spring, it's normcore wrapped up into one garmet and prices can range from around 20 quid to the stunning Maharishi jacket (it's on £555, surely worth more than paying your rent for the month right?). WhoWhatWear have a great essential guide on how to wear it.
Suede is the new leather, and though I'm yet to be convinced to give up my favourite texture, suede jackets are my personal style pick all day long. I'll be hunting for the perfect blue one, although grey is a classic too. The off the shoulder playsuit from Missguided is a great classic piece to dress up or down throughout the summer months.
This jumpsuit is everything to me; a little bit of a more expensive piece in our collection, but so worth it. With ruffles, floral pattern, plunging neckline and wide leg trousers, it's ticking all the right boxes. Dust off a pair of white trainers and it'll give that perfect "I just threw this on" look.
If £100 is still feeling a bit steep, sites like Missguided, New Look & Asos provide great inexpensive options...here's a £50 edit for anyone who feels that might be more in their price range...
